My Story

My journey working in and with companies in the trades began in 2002 when I joined SuccessWare. SuccessWare was one of the original, full-featured, field service management solutions in the industry. It included not only customer and job management, but supported all areas of the business including agreement management, marketing tracking, sales management and included a fully integrated accounting system.

My initial job with SuccessWare was to build and deliver training for the companies using the software and that meant I had to learn, in depth, all aspects of a home service business.

​

One of the powerful tools I had in learning the trades was the partners I worked with while at SuccessWare. Members of some of the most influential industry best practice organizations in the trades such as Success Group International, Nexstar and Service Roundtable, as well as the Clockwork Home Services Franchise organization, were using SuccessWare and I worked closely with those organizations to ensure the software supported their missions and that their members were using it right. This gave me the opportunity to learn about the industry directly from some of its most influential leaders and most successful contractors.

As my career at SuccessWare continued, I worked closely with SWRemote to support the creation of one of the first, full-featured mobile solutions in the industry. This allowed me to gain a more complete understanding of the work performed by technicians in the field and how they worked with both customers, and software. I also worked with countless business partners to integrate features we take for granted today like integrated payments, texting, review generation and GPS tracking.

After 18 years, I moved to ServiceTitan (ServiceTitan published this article about me when I joined the team). There I worked across the organization, from sales, to support and training, to development, sharing my knowledge of the industry and the role software plays  in supporting best practice processes that help companies grow.

I was asked to use this expertise and experience to build a program to help ServiceTitan customer’s better understand all aspects of the software and how it could be used in a connected way across a business. I saw this project as an opportunity to create a certification program that could be earned by the office team members who play such an essential role in the success of a business. Born from this was the ServiceTitan Certified Administrator program. I created and launched the program in December of 2022. Since then, over 1500 ServiceTitan users have earned their certification, allowing them to demonstrating their expertise in using ServiceTitan and helping their company maximize the system’s full potential.

In 2023 I joined Goettl Home Services, an enterprise organization with branches in 4 states across the southwest. There I was tasked with expanding the usage of ServiceTitan across the organization. Through the end of 2024 I played a leading role in the rollout of full inventory management, Dispatch Pro and Adjustable Capacity Planning, while steam-lining workflows across both the customer and office journey.

In January of 2025, I launched High Winds Success with the intent of making my experience and knowledge available to contractors across the US and Canada.
